RenewalIQ ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect on renewaliq.ca and through the RenewalIQ mobile applications, how we use it, and your rights under applicable Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA).

1. Information We Collect

1a. Website — email signup information

If you choose to subscribe to our mailing list through the form on this website, we collect your email address, signup timestamp, source page or form location, IP address, and any campaign parameters included in the page URL. This is the only personal information we collect directly from you on this website.

Email signup records are handled through the shared lead-registry Worker and stored in the shared lead registry Google Sheet. This site no longer stores signup records in Cloudflare KV.

1b. Website — usage data and cookies

Like most websites, renewaliq.ca may collect non-personally-identifiable information automatically through your browser, including your IP address, browser type, referring pages, and pages visited. This data is collected by Cloudflare (our hosting and CDN provider) and may be used for security, performance monitoring, and analytics. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for details.

1c. Mobile applications — no data collection

The RenewalIQ mobile apps collect no personal data. All mortgage calculations, scenarios, and inputs are stored entirely on your device. No data is transmitted to our servers or any third party. There is no account, no login, and no backend.

In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store or by Google through Google Play. We do not receive your payment information. See Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy for details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Email signup information: to send infrequent updates about RenewalIQ, including new features, new educational articles, and significant announcements, and to understand which website page or campaign led to the signup. We do not send marketing emails on behalf of third parties. You may unsubscribe at any time by contacting us (see Section 7).
• Usage data: to understand how visitors use the website and to improve its performance and content.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

3. Advertising

We may display advertisements on renewaliq.ca through Google AdSense (Google LLC) or similar third-party advertising networks. These services may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads based on your visit to renewaliq.ca and other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of the use of the DART cookie at any time by visiting Google's Advertising Settings.

• Analytics cookies: Help us understand how visitors interact with the website. These are anonymized and aggregated.
• Advertising cookies: Used by Google AdSense and similar services to serve relevant advertisements. You may opt out as described in Section 3.

5. Data Retention

Email signup records collected through our subscription form are retained until you request removal. Usage data collected through Cloudflare is subject to Cloudflare's data retention policies.

6. Children's Privacy

RenewalIQ is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights (PIPEDA)

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Withdraw consent for collection and use of your personal information
• Request deletion of your email address from our mailing list
